I’m always excited during this time of year because of the holidays and incorporating the latest trends into my wardrobe. In this post I am sharing the top 5 fall chic fashion trends I’ve seen from fashion month and they are perfect for the holidays.
I love planning for my birthday and Christmas since they are so close together. This year, I’m looking forward to spending time with my loved ones of course, but I’m also preparing myself mentally to graduate in the spring. Heres to new chapters!
This is my first post since I revamped the website to spruce it up a bit and make it more easily accessible. What are you excited about this season?
1. YEAR ROUND BOOTIE: Each year around this time I look at all the new inventory on the market and pick a signature bootie. This year I was searching for a lower heeled and comfortable pair which I found in these by Halston.
2. SEQUINS: This season I am seeing sequins everywhere and I love it. What was once reserved for the holidays, is now making its way for everyday use. I love the embellishments on tshirts and boots too. I am in love with this style by Alice & Olivia and am eyeing it for my birthday. 3. ANIMAL PRINT/LEOPARD: Every few seasons this trend makes an appearance on the runways and creeps back into everyone’s wardrobe and if you’re like me, it never really goes away. Just tucked in the back of the closest waiting to come back in style again, but my Mom always says that leopard never goes out of style, so I hold onto all of those animal prints just in case. 4. PLAID: This print is a classic and also never really goes out of style and this season I’m loving the resurgence of bold plaid jackets. I don’t really own any plaid prints so I am looking for a great jacket for winter or possibly a menswear inspired suit. 5. THE CLUTCH: You can never go wrong with a great clutch! I like to have a few on hand when I’m going out for an evening affair or quite frankly, just casually. I also love a great leopard clutch like this one here.
